This is an oval blue and white transferware serving platter featuring the classic Willow pattern.• The design, known as "Blue Willow," is a popular chinoiserie motif that typically depicts a narrative scene with a bridge, a pagoda, a boat, and two birds.• These platters were produced by numerous manufacturers, particularly in England, starting in the late 18th century and continuing through the 19th century and beyond, this in particular was made by Buffalo Pottery in 1911.• The platter is 1.5” tall, 8.5” long and 6.75” wide.• Mark: Semi-Vitreous Buffalo Pottery 1911Condition: it is in fair condition. See all photos. The front of the platter looks good, there is a crack that goes through on one side, there are some stains as well. There’s crazing throughout the platter.
