This is Swarovski Crystal´s "HOLLY" Bear that was only available in the 80s at Zales Jewelers. Holly was the second in a long line of bears that was something of a fluke. The year prior, Zales purchased a lot of holiday bears from Swarovski to sell in all their stores wearing a cap and scarf. The bear was such a sensation, they placed another order the next year asking Swarovski for another holiday bear. This time, they created a girl bear they named "HOLLY". She is adorable holding three red flowers. She sports a bow on her head and if you look closely, she has a Swarovski Crystal in the center of her collar. She is made up of four crystals (body, head, ears) and a half crystal behind her black nose to give it lift. If I´m not mistaken, her eyes and nose are cabochon black Swarovski Crystal as well. During this time in Swarovski´s history, small bears and animals were so popular they teamed with TRIMLITE to handle production. On the bottom of the bear, you can see a T which is their hallmark as well as a C for copyrighted. These Swarovski pieces stamped with the T command a much higher price in the secondary market than those with the Swarovski Hallmark. Crazy but true!1.50" high
