Product Details
This beautiful round serving bowl with handles by Noritake has a diameter of 9-7/8 inches and features the original "Gloria" pattern, initially produced around 1933. This early version of the pattern used a backstamp that indicated "Japan" or "Made in Japan" (often the "M" in a wreath mark of the Morimura Brothers, the importer at the time) to comply with the revised McKinley Tariff Act. This serving bowl also indicates the US design patent application rather than the patent number that was displayed at a later time period. The lovely pattern consists of floral sprays and scroll work in shades of pink, yellow, purple, turquoise, white, and gold, and the rim and handles are edged in gold. An elegant addition to your collection or any dinner setting. This item is in excellent condition.
